Enzo Panzeri, born in Monza near Milan, is the designer behind the renowned Italian lighting brand, Panzeri. As the third child of Carlo Panzeri, who established the company in 1947, Enzo joined the family business in 1980 and now serves as chief designer. He oversees product selection and manufacturing processes, and is credited with the company's continued success and its 70th anniversary in 2017. With his keen market instincts, Enzo is a prominent figure in the contemporary lighting industry.
As chief designer, Enzo has created numerous successful lights for Panzeri, known for their versatility and clean, simple shapes. He remains committed to the company's philosophy of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Another important person behind the brand's famous designs is the architect and designer Matteo Thun. Matteo Thun believes that product design and architecture are interdependent. The design of a building dictates the need for interior decor, which in turn drives the design of objects. This connection is also evident in his "Ecotektur" concept, which merges architecture and ecology.
